Propulsion technology. Ortlinghaus quality.
Marine clutches serve to transfer power, synchronize, and separate the main and auxiliary drives.
The main clutch is responsible for synchronizing the drive unit and the propeller when turning. With the right setup, our multi-plate clutches can be used in trolling mode to enable a continuous speed adjustment between drive and output.
Other applications include Power Take-off (PTO) and Power Take-in (PTI) clutches which can be switched on or off to operate additional pumps and generators.
